Hands On Pond Science
Village School second graders enjoyed a walking field trip to Manning Pond to collect samples of macroinvertebrates. Back in their classroom they observed different species and tallied their specimens before returning them to the pond. They were excited to report their findings, from water boatmen to mayflies, to a handful of pollywogs.
