CLASS NOTES
Constitution Day in the Fourth Grade
Fourth graders celebrated Constitution Day with the help of Village School parent John Lamson, who teaches a Pre-Law class at Southwest Tech. Mr. Lamson and his students organized the class as delegates from six states who attended the Constitutional Convention in 1787 to set up America’s government. Fourth Grade teacher Pat Gibbons shared that her students did a good job debating different issues. They celebrated the Constitution by singing “We the People,” dressing up as colonial Americans, and decorating a cake in the form of the American flag.
