Village School first and second graders took a walking field trip to the McAdoo Pond for hands-on science exploration on Wednesday, September 16. Students, and family members, had fun collecting samples of macroinvertebrates. When they returned to their classroom they had a lesson on observing, identifying, and tallying the different species. From water boatmen to mayflies, the young scientists were thrilled to share their discoveries!
