This week’s calendar reminders:

• Wednesday, January 17, will be a half-day for students, with dismissal at 11:30 a.m.

• Friday, January 19 there will be a Fantastic Friday assembly at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium, and families and friends are welcome to attend. Students in grades K-6 will do presentations on diversity, peace, and justice—lessons that are as important today as they were during the Civil Rights Movement.

• Friday, January 19: Contra Dance at 6:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium.  Enjoy contra dancing with regional-favorite caller
Fern Bradley and live music with the Tune Jam Band, as well as free refreshments. Admission is free and all are welcome! Students must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you to the Village School Second Grade for hosting this event!
