Jodi Breithaupt is the part-time substitute teacher at the Village School of North Bennington. She has more than 23 years of experience in the education field. Mrs. Breithaupt was the director of Meadowbrook Child Care Center, and she taught pre-K for many years in Manchester, VT. She holds two associate degrees, in Early Education and Occupational Therapy, and attended Southern Vermont College and Maria College.
Ms. Breithaupt has been a foster parent for more than 13 years, providing a safe and healthy environment for many children in the Bennington area. Her favorite part of being a foster parent and working at the Village School is having the opportunity to provide stability for children and to serve as a positive role model.
Ms. Breithaupt also works as the Express Care Patient Coordinator at the local hospital, as well as for a private office in North Bennington. When she isn’t working, she loves to spend time outside sledding, camping, and gardening and she loves to spend time with her family, especially teaching her kids how to expand their imaginations.
Mission
Children are at the heart of all we do. We nurture a child's curiosity, ignite enthusiasm for exploring, develop tools for inquiry, for invention, for achievement. We welcome families into a community-wide collaboration to help our children grow into their best selves - responsible citizens and stewards of the greater world, makers of the future.
