Sixth Grade Teacher
Liz Muller is so happy to return to Vermont as the sixth grade teacher for the Village School of North Bennington. She just moved from New Jersey, where she taught fifth grade for many years. The curiosity, unpredictability, and enthusiasm of kids this age energize her. Mrs. Muller earned a B.A. in American Studies from Middlebury College and an M.A. in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She quickly fled New York City for the Green Mountains and taught at the Whitingham School before marrying and raising two children near family in New Jersey. She looks forward to time on Vermont trails and getting to know the children and community of the Village School.
Children are at the heart of all we do. We nurture a child's curiosity, ignite enthusiasm for exploring, develop tools for inquiry, for invention, for achievement. We welcome families into a community-wide collaboration to help our children grow into their best selves - responsible citizens and stewards of the greater world, makers of the future.
