Alli Sargent moved from the coast of North Carolina back to her home state of Vermont in 2017, at which time she joined the VSNB team as the school’s speech-language pathologist (SLP). She has been a practicing SLP since 2013, after graduating with her master’s degree from The College of Saint Rose, in Albany, NY. Ms. Sargent has practiced in several schools in North Carolina over the past four years and has worked with students with a variety of communication needs, in grades Pre-K through 12. She also works with the adult population as an SLP for Bayada Home Health addressing communication impairments caused by stroke, traumatic brain injury, or disease. Outside of work, Ms. Sargent enjoys spending time at the lake with her family, friends, and golden retriever, Luke.
Children are at the heart of all we do. We nurture a child’s curiosity, ignite enthusiasm for exploring, develop tools for inquiry, for invention, for achievement. We welcome families into a community-wide collaboration to help our children grow into their best selves – responsible citizens and stewards of the greater world, makers of the future.
