The sixth graders pictured with their teacher, Mr. Kasulinous, on one of the last days of school, before they became “alumni”!

Our sixth graders’ graduation ceremony was held at The Park–McCullough Historic Governor’s Mansion on the evening of June 11th. One of the sixth grade graduation speakers, Finn, said: “I came here in kindergarten and I have had a lot of unforgettable memories. All of the teachers here have helped me to learn and grow. I have made many friends who have helped me through my journey at the VSNB. I will never forget the friends that I made at this school and how I was supported by the teachers and staff members.”

Graduation speaker Clare added: “Another awesome thing about the Village School of North Bennington is the field trips that they offer. (Among them, she mentioned: The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in New York City, The Boston Science Museum and The Freedom Trail in Boston, The Hulbert Outdoor Center and Keewaydin Environmental Education Center in Vermont.) We would like to thank everyone who made it possible for us to go on these amazing trips.

Graduation speakers Magdelana and Zelva thanked all of the teachers and staff, parents and families, Village School Board members, and the North Bennington Prudential Committee for all of their encouragement and support throughout our years here. They concluded: “Our experience has been phenomenal. We’ve made good friends, great memories…and are well prepared for our next step in our education.”
