The Village School’s Search for the Next Head of School
In September 2026, Tim Newbold, the Village School’s Head of School, announced that the 2026-27 school year will be his final year leading the school after 11 years of service.
The Village School is currently searching for a new Head of School, with a planned start date of July 1, 2027, for the 2027-28 academic year.

Head of School Search Committee
The Board of Trustees’ Executive Committee has formed a Head of School Search Committee to guide the search for the Village School’s next leader. Committee members bring a deep understanding of and commitment to the school’s mission and values, along with a range of experiences and perspectives from across our school and broader community.
