Dear Village School Families:
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair will take place at our school from October 23-27, 2023.
Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND every purchase at the Scholastic Book Fair benefits our school.
All students will have the opportunity to visit the Scholastic Book Fair as part of their regularly scheduled library class (see schedule below). During this time, students will be able to browse the books and make purchases. If you would like your student to be able to make a purchase, please send your student to school with cash on their library day. I will be available to assist your students throughout their library class.
Library classes are scheduled on the following days:
Monday, Oct. 23: Pre-K (Fireflies & Butterflies), 2nd Grade, 4th Grade, Spicy Noodles 5th/6th Grade Combo
Wednesday, Oct. 27: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, The Pebbles 5th/6th Grade Combo
The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open for students and parents/guardians/caregivers to visit
after school on Monday, October 23 from 3-3:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 27 from 3-3:30 p.m. Students must be accompanied by an adult while shopping after school. Purchases at this time can also be made with a credit card, in addition to cash or a check.
