School Starts Sept. 1

The Village School of North Bennington dismissed students for the summer on June 11, 2021. We saw a lot of smiles beneath students’ masks as they enjoyed fun field games and goodbye air hugs and elbow bumps. One look at their overloaded bags of completed assignments, artwork, and progress reports was a reminder that it has been a busy and full year of growth and accomplishments for all of our students!

A special CONGRATULATIONS to our sixth-graders as they move on into the next stage of their education journey! We are so proud of them and enjoyed celebrating with them during their graduation ceremony on June 10, 2021. Congratulations to our Award Winners: Sawyer for “Excellence in Humanities”; Aidyn for “Excellence in Mathematics”; Elizabeth for “Creativity in Mathematics” ; and Vita for the “Kindness Award.”

THANK YOU again to our amazing faculty and staff for their extra hard work, flexibility, and willingness to go above and beyond in their commitment to keeping children at the heart of all we do here at the Village School!

The 2021-2022 academic year will begin with a half day on Wednesday, September 1 for students in grades K-6. The Pre-K program will begin on Thursday, September 2. The summer meal program for the greater Bennington area will begin June 28. Details will be posted at https://www.svsu.org/apps/pages/food.
