On Friday, March 30, 2018 The Village School of North Bennington hosted SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary about the biggest parenting issue of our time.

This award-winning film dives deep into how technology impacts kids’ development and the challenges of parenting in the digital world.  It also offers solutions on how we, as adults, can empower their kids to best navigate the digital world to find balance.

The 67-minute film was followed by a discussion panel with Scott Burg, who teaches psychology art Southern Vermont College and practices clinical psychology with Bennington’s Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Associates; Hannah Greene, Mount Anthony Union Middle School Counselor; Jude Higdon, Bennington College Director of Information Technology; and Tim Newbold, Head of School at the Village School of North Bennington.

Thanks to Bennington College for allowing us to hold this event in their theatre, and to Sherry Schwarz and Matthew Perry for organizing the event.
