Alison Kelly is a Special Educator at the Village School of North Bennington. Before joining the Village School, she served as an Intensive Needs Special Education Teacher at Twin Valley Middle High School in the Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSSU). Ms. Kelly earned a master’s degree in Special Education from Herbert H. Lehman College in New York. Throughout her career, she has worked with students in a variety of educational settings, including Mt. Anthony Union Middle School in Bennington, Meadows School in Brattleboro, and Pinellas County Schools in Florida. Passionate about creating inclusive learning environments for students with special needs, Ms. Kelly established the first Unified Basketball Team in the WSSU district’s history. She also helped develop sensory trails for riders through the Children of Promise Stable (COPS) program in Nanuet, New York, and is a strong advocate for equine-assisted therapy as a support for students with special needs.
