She taught writing workshops and was an assistant art teacher at Buxton School in Williamstown, Mass., for two years before moving to California, where she worked as a news reporter. Her beat included everything from crime and court cases to environmental issues and the antics of a beaver family that lived in the multi-million-dollar flood control channel of a small town. Ms. Brondino has also studied portrait painting and particularly loves working with oil paint, water color and pastel. Art has always been an important part of her life and she is excited to work with children at the Village School as they explore artistic ideas and find new ways of expressing themselves. Ms. Brondino has three children who all attend the Village School.

Mission

Children are at the heart of all we do. We nurture a child's curiosity, ignite enthusiasm for exploring, develop tools for inquiry, for invention, for achievement. We welcome families into a community-wide collaboration to help our children grow into their best selves - responsible citizens and stewards of the greater world, makers of the future.
