Amy Castle was born and raised in Bennington, VT. After attending Champlain College for Social Services, Ms. Castle took time off to raise her two boys: Bryan and Luke. In 2001, Ms. Castle started substitute teaching grades K-6 and 9-12, both mainstream and in special education departments. She earned her Vermont Paraprofessional Certificate in 2008. After spending 30 years out of town, Ms. Castle returned to North Bennington and worked in the Village School’s kindergarten classroom in 2017-18. She is now looking forward to her roll as a teacher’s assistant at the Village School.
