Join Friends of the Village School for a reading of Dr. Seuss classics with VSNB parent Morgan Oldham in the school library on Fri., March 1, at 6:30 p.m. Join us in the Village School library for a reading of Dr. Seuss classics! There will be fun and games geared toward younger kids, a book-club style reading geared toward older kids, and tasty treats like pink-ink-yink and Truffula fruits. Congratulations to the 4th Grade Class for a successful and inspiring Night of the Notables on February 7, 2019! Once again the fourth graders donned personas ranging from presidents and queens to professional sportsmen and artists. Students worked hard and enthusiastically to learn about the famous people they were representing, including astronaut Neil Armstrong, author Jeff Kinney, artist Frida Kahlo, and many more!read more
Village School students and families are invited for a special Friends of the Village School event exploring the winter night sky with Bennington College Physics and Astronomy Professor Hugh Crowl and Head of School Tim Newbold on Friday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of star stories and crafts at Bennington College’s Dickinson Science Building before walking over to the observatory to view the Orion Nebula, star clusters, and a few galaxies.
