VSNB’s Online Auction Fundraiser is open for bidding through Saturday, May 30 (ending at 3 p.m.). There’s something for everyone, with nearly 100 items from work by local artists to gift baskets, season passes to restaurant gift cards, antiques & collectibles, museum memberships, spa certificates, vacations, VSNB teacher-led experiences, and more!
All-Student Art Exhibit (Friday, May 15th)
The Vermont Arts Exchange + Village School of North Bennington’s All-Student Art Exhibition’s Opening Reception will be at the Maurice Kahn Gallery in The Left Bank on Friday, May 15th from 3-5:30 p.m. Stop by The Left Bank at 9 Bank Street to view the artwork of all of our K-6 students and Pre-K students who attend art class.
Night of the Notables 2026
Fourth graders shined brightly during their Night of the Notables film and presentations on Thursday, April 16th. Their performance, titled “Notable Lives, Inspiring Stories,” was filled with creativity, confidence, and inspiration!
Join Us for Fun & Games!
The Village School PTG invites students, families, and staff to bring a favorite board game for an evening of fun and laughter on Friday, April 10, from 6-8 p.m. in the school gymnasium! This event is free and open to the VSNB community. We ask all children to be accompanied by an adult.
Art From the Schools – On Exhibit Until May 17
Don’t miss the vibrant artwork of Village School students on display in the Southern Vermont Arts Center exhibit “Art from the Schools.” Every student, in grades Pre-K through Sixth, has an original piece of artwork in the exhibit.

Don’t miss the Southern Vermont Arts Center’s opening reception of Art From the Schools on Friday, April 3, from 4-7 p.m. All Village School students have artwork on display in the show in partnership with the Vermont Arts Exchange. Admission is free, and enjoy music and food!
The Jungle Book Musical: A Wild Success!
A huge congratulations to the cast and crew of “The Jungle Book KIDS.” Their performances were fantastic. Kudos and thanks to Director Carrie Gardner and Musical Director Carla Boyle-Wight for their hard work and dedication.

The Village School Players (participating students in grades 3-6) will perform “The Jungle Book KIDS” on Feb. 13 & 14, with shows at 6 p.m. Don’t miss this lively adaptation of the Disney musical. Learning & Living the Legacy of Dr. King
Village School K-6 students thoughtfully prepared presentations for our Fantastic Friday Assembly on Friday, January 16, honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and reflecting on his enduring work for peace, justice, and equality.
Fantastic Friday (Jan. 16, 2026) at 2 p.m.
Join us on Friday, Jan. 16, for a K-6 assembly at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Students will give presentations and performances in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., with a focus on diversity, peace, and justice—lessons that are as important today as they were during the Civil Rights Movement. Open to families, friends, and the community!
